1. About RogueScalar

Welcome, and thanks for your interest in RogueScalar products. I’m Ben Stover, the founder and sole developer behind RogueScalar LLC, a single-member LLC doing business as RogueScalar. Every tool, app, and digital product offered here is created, maintained, and supported by me personally.

While I sometimes use platforms like Payhip or Google Play for sales and delivery, you’re never dealing with a large company. I handle all development and support directly.

2. Agreement to Terms

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using any RogueScalar product or service, you agree to be bound by this End User License and Terms of Use Agreement ("Agreement").

You may also be subject to the terms of the platform or store through which you acquired the product.

Continued use after any updates means you accept the latest version of this Agreement. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the product.

3. License and Usage Rights

When you purchase or download a product from RogueScalar, you are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use that product for personal or business purposes.

This license does not grant ownership. You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or share the product or its contents
• Post download links publicly
• Claim the product or any part of it as your own work
• Reverse engineer, alter, or tamper with the product or its functionality

Violations may result in loss of access. All intellectual property remains the sole property of RogueScalar LLC.

4. Licensing and Device Verification

To help ensure fair use and reduce piracy, some products may perform license verification based on anonymized device data.

This verification process may generate a unique identifier using elements of your device and your license key. This identifier does not contain personal data, is never shared, and is used strictly to validate that your installation is authorized.

Typically:

• Products will attempt to verify the license online at startup
• A limited number of offline uses are allowed before re-verification is required
• If a license is refunded, duplicated, or tampered with, access may be revoked

If access is restricted, you’ll still be able to export your saved data to your device.

5. Digital Nature of Products

All RogueScalar offerings are digital downloads. No physical goods are shipped. After your purchase is complete, you’ll receive access to your digital product.

Digital items are non-returnable by nature, but a generous refund policy is available (see Section 9).

6. Your Data and Privacy

You retain full ownership of your personal data and content.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, RogueScalar products store your data locally on your device. They do not transmit your data to RogueScalar or any third party without your clear, intentional action (such as using an API feature).

If you choose to interact with external services through a product, only the data you provide will be transmitted, and only for that operation. No background tracking or hidden uploads occur.

Please make regular backups of your content—data cannot be recovered if your device or files are lost.

7. Updates and Changes

All RogueScalar products and services may evolve over time. This includes feature updates, interface changes, and license terms. When this Agreement is updated, the "Effective Date" will reflect the latest revision.

It is your responsibility to check for updates. Continued use of a product indicates your agreement to any revised terms.

8. No Warranty

All products are provided “as-is” without any express or implied warranties.

I work hard to ensure reliability and quality, but I cannot guarantee performance on every device or under all conditions. You assume full responsibility for using any RogueScalar product. I am not liable for loss, damage, or issues caused by software behavior, intended or otherwise.

That said—if something isn’t working right, let me know. I care about user experience and will provide support when possible.

9. Refund Policy

If you purchase directly from roguescalar.com, I offer a 90-day no-questions-asked refund policy. Just contact me with your order details, and I’ll process your refund within 48 hours.

If your purchase was made through a third-party platform (e.g. Google Play), their refund policies apply and must be followed.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

If you experience a problem, I encourage you to reach out first. Most issues can be resolved easily and respectfully.

If a legal dispute arises, this Agreement will be governed by the laws of Illinois, USA, unless prohibited by local consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
